Greetings, loves! I am so excited to announce that #LoveLetters is finally HERE!!! And I am so happy that you will be joining me in this pursuit with God! Before I proceed further, I wanted to provide you with a little history about this ministry: I started a Christian blog almost two years ago, and at the time, my blog was titled: Love Chronicles of Porsche. I allowed God to use me to chronicle pieces of my story and my personal collisions with truth (not always in the order in which they occurred!) in a way that brought blessing, glory, and honor to His name. I had written for many years and in many different capacities my entire life, but writing for God was completely new to me. I had no idea what I was doing (ha!), but the feedback that I received was very encouraging! Then, a year into it, God led me to change the name of the blog, alter the focus just a bit, and start a ministry under the name Love Is A Lifestyle. He created the mission and the vision (which will be very important to know should you decide to join me in this pursuit!), and I am so elated about the work that God has done through me thus far. I am also privileged and honored that He is continuing to use me as a vessel for His glory, and continuing to propel me into greater heights for the advancement of His Kingdom! Ah! Exciting times…for all of us!
If I am connected to you via social media, I am sure that as I’ve posted my spirit-led thoughts with the hashtag #LoveLetters during the past month or so, your interest has been peaked and you have speculated about the details along the way. Therefore, you may have some kind of idea as to what #LoveLetters is all about. 🙂 There are a few people that I have received inspiration from as it relates to this aspect of my ministry; people like the lovely Hannah Brencher, the founder of More Love Letters. Hannah is a young Christian woman who was led to spread the love of God by encouraging others to spread love by way of handwritten notes and letters! As both a natural writer and an encourager, handwritten, personalized letters are like a dream to me! And I was happy that God planted this idea and vision into my heart. With this aspect of my ministry, I am able to use my God-given talent of writing to encourage people, and glorify God in the process! How cool is that! 🙂 However, I wanted to put my own personal spin on it…I wanted to do some things a little differently than it has been done in the past. I wanted to put my own personal touch on this specific area of ministry (because this is indeed ministry for me).
Of course, monthly handwritten, personalized love letters will be composed and sent out by me personally – and mailed to each member for general and special encouragement, and also during birthdays, holidays, special life events, etc. To do this effectively, we must get to know you and/or your family on a more personal level, and find out how best we can encourage you and pray for you as a team! This is where the registration and subscription aspect comes in! There will be instructions on how to do this later on in this announcement. But there’s more!
#LoveLetters and #LoveIsALifestyle is not just a hashtag, it is a God-ordained work with a mission to spread God’s love and His truth in many ways. The first area of ministry (as mentioned) is the monthly personalized, handwritten letter ministry in addition to special occasions (#LoveLetters). The second is the weekly email list that will encourage us to grow in our spiritual walk as the Body of Christ, to grow in love with God and with others, and to persevere in the faith (#ELoveLetters). The third is our discipleship and outreach efforts through monthly book readings and in-depth studies (#LoveIsALifestyle). We will all share what God is teaching us through his Word and through the specified book reading for that month. This area of ministry will also equip and encourage us in our efforts to evangelize and share the Gospel in ways that God has called us to. The fourth is our love chronicles ministry (#LoveChronicles) where each month, one member and/or family will share with everyone who is subscribed to our email ministry the ways that God has blessed them as an encouragement to each of us! Whether it is a personal testimony, a ministry success story, an answered prayer, a new job, a new home, an engagement or wedding, the birth of a child, a parenting or marriage tip that proved to be successful, whatever it is…we want to share these things with one another to rejoice as a family in Christ and to keep us encouraged in our own lives! You can also send us photos and anything else you would like to include in your story during your submission.
You and your entire family can join every aspect of this ministry, as long as they are included as a separate member on your form during the sign-up process. If a member of your family has a separate mailing address, please list the address and note whether it is temporary and seasonal (for instance, a young adult who is attending college). During the sign-up process, you will have the opportunity to tell us more about you and your family, such as family size and age(s), geographical location, career and/or ministry involvement, church affiliation, areas of prayer, new ventures and ways that God is currently using you, etc. This is an opportunity for you and your family to be lifted up and encouraged in every area of your life! I will not be the only one praying for you; we will have a team of individuals praying for you!
Here is how you can sign up: Send your full name and email address to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line: Love Letters Ministry Registration. From there, you will receive a response email with a form for you to fill out which lists every area of ministry. You will have the option of choosing which aspect of the ministry you would like to be involved in. Our hope is that you will be involved in every aspect! However, if you desire to just do a few at this time, you can always update your preferences. If you sign up for the monthly personalized, handwritten letters, we will need your current mailing address for your residence or business. You are welcome to use a P.O. Box as long as it is accurate and remains this way. Please promptly send us any address changes as they arise. We will not use your address or any other information that you have provided for anything that is not tied to this ministry.
More Exciting NEWS: Every person who signs up for all areas of this ministry and likes us on Facebook (Love Is A Lifestyle) and Pinterest (LoveIsLifestyle) by November 15th will be entered for a chance to win a Christmas prize pack which includes my book Happily Ever After, a Happily Ever After T-Shirt, a Visa gift-card, and a personalized note addressed to the gift recipient! This would be a perfect gift for a daughter, sister, niece, wife, mother, or a dear friend just in time for Christmas! So, hurry and sign up! 🙂 (I will be reviewing sign-up forms first to determine eligibility, so please be sure to include your email address!)
#LoveLetters will be officially launching in exactly one month, so you definitely want to be registered before then! The first #ELoveLetters weekly email will be sent out on Monday, November 23th – and the first monthly personalized letter will be sent out on Monday December 21st to everyone who has signed up for this part of the ministry just in time for Christmas (remember, we need your mailing address for this)! If I am connected to you in any way (personally, locally, through social media, through my blog, etc.), I want you to join! And please share this with others so that they can experience the love as well!
I love you all, and I am excited about what the Lord desires to do for His Kingdom and for each of you!
