“I’m so proud of you. You love so well, that it hurts for people to see you go. We are kindred in this way. The great thing about this is that those that you love and nurture and cherish and teach and equip and disciple will have a piece of your heart to guide them for the rest of their lives. But I want the whole. I want your whole heart.”
“I guess what this means is: It’s time for you to come back home. Back to me. Back to where you belong. Whenever you’re ready…”
And she replies: “In due time, my love. In due time.”
-Excerpt from new writing project Love Chronicles
Does God have all of you? Does He have your entire heart, mind, body, soul, spirit?
God is love. He created love. And love is perfect. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is compassionate. Love is selfless. Love is unconditional. Love is incomparable. Love is relentless. Love is incomprehensible. And we belong first and foremost with God in love, and He with us. No one can occupy the space that has been reserved for Him. And with this in place, we are able to surrender to His will and love the world, our spouse, the church, our family, our friends, and everyone we encounter with ALL of us.
“Thank you for coming back to love…”
God is love. Love is a lifestyle. Jesus lived it, and He’s still living it.
And so should we. Don’t you forget it.

Scripture Reference:
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
