Hola una vez mas! Okay, loves – so if you know me – and if you follow my Pinterest account – you know that I am a foodie: I love good food, I love thinking about food, I love fine dining, I love pinning recipes that I can cook at a later time. I have tons of recipes saved on my Pinterest account (Love Is A Lifestyle) with plans to entertain and engage with each one! I recently wrote a blog post about the art of hospitality within the church community – valuable information for those who are seeking to grow and build and disciple within Christ’s church! I have quite a few recipes that I have saved, that I am looking forward to taking advantage of, and that I would like to share with you as well! Please, please understand: As a foodie, I have also developed this love for cooking…I won’t consider myself a master chef, however, my motto is: If I like to eat, then I need to like cooking! So women around the world – domesticated and undomesticated alike – may we all develop a deeper love for good food as well as an appreciation for cooking!
Well…here we go!
First recipe: Zuchini Lasagna Rolls with Italian turkey sausage! The zuchini replaces the pasta for those of us who can stand to do without the extra carbs! You’ll also find more italian recipes on this page as well! This is a very healthy recipe and can be viewed here!
Second recipe: Lentil, Sweet Potato, and Cauliflower Curry: Now this sounds so delicious! And I am a fan of sweet potatoes and soup! This is a hearty meal for those chill days where you want to stay warm and be comforted! It is also very healthy: Lentils are full of cholesterol-fighting fiber, sweet potatoes are full of essential vitamins and minerals, while cauliflower is a source of anti-cancer phytochemicals. Lentils are also rich in protein, fiber, iron, and vitamins (as the page mentions). Good and healthy – my kind of meal! The recipe can be viewed here!
Third recipe: Now this is a salad on one-thousand – and it has the sauce! Lol! This is the Southwestern Kale Power Salad with Sweet potatoes (hello again!), Quinoa, and Avocado sauce. Plethora of vegetables, and feta, pepitos, black beans, and jalapenos make an appearance! Yum! The recipe can be viewed here!
I will plan to send out similar posts occasionally (maybe once a month) so that we can encourage one another in our healthy living and healthy loving lifestyles.
