Still reflecting on Philippians 2 (specifically verses 6-8), and I am amazed at how Jesus, God in the flesh, came down from Heaven, and made Himself of no reputation…NO reputation to rescue and save a sinful, wicked, and depraved humanity. With this in mind, it is very biblical to profess that no one can damage a child of God’s reputation to the point where they are no longer successful for His Kingdom. If Jesus the Christ humbled Himself in the grandest way, what makes us think that we should not?

What makes us believe that our reputations are worth upholding? What makes us believe that our reputations are worth ANYTHING in His eyes?

He doesn’t care what you came with, what you accomplished, what was on your resume before Him: When we become servants of His, we count it all as a loss.

Our reputations have NO value in the Kingdom of God; our service, our commitment, our obedience, and our faithfulness does.

Humble service. No vainglory.

One of the greatest deterrents to a closer relationship with God is pride. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:5). I pray that through my ministry (previous) and business (current), you are able to learn humility through Christ and through the Christ in me.
