So today, I’m grateful for the fact that Chick-Fil-A advertised Grilled Chicken Nuggets and Macaroni and Cheese on my television screen. This was yesterday.
Go get you some.
I’m also grateful for the fact that my face mask (after enduring so much turmoil) doesn’t look as bad as it could look.
I do the work.
I’m not wearing toothpaste on my face today. 😁
The Green Tea, Cranberry Juice, Turmeric, and Purified Water is working. Thank you very much!
Word of the Day: Elitist.
What are your thoughts about this word and this belief? Do you consider yourself one? Do you conduct yourself as one? Do you believe there is a certain race or ethnic background that represents this ideology?
Think about (intellectual) (art) (music) (academic) elitist.
I never got around to writing this book (The Feminist Theory: Egalitarianism and Its Threat to Biblical Complementarianism and Divine Personhood), but I’ve done enough work to make up for it. Egalitarianism is similar to elitism (in my opinion). Maybe I’ll become a professor one day, and teach about this more.
Shout out to all of the unwritten books that I still receive credit for. ☀️
Music (some new, some old) that I’m currently vibing to:
Lalah Hathaway – I Can’t Wait
Dana Williams – Holiday
Mereba – Sandstorm
Yuna and Usher – Crush
Musiq Soulchild – Anything
Leon Thomas and Buddy – Favorite
Drake and Chris Brown – No Guidance
Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla Sign – Hot Girl Summer
Chance The Rapper, Da Baby, Made in TYO – Hot Shower
Bruno Mars – 24K Magic
Two, three, five of my favorite albums (from women of color):
Ari Lennox – Pho (EP)
Beyonce – Lemonade
Jill Scott – Woman
Ari Lennox – Shea Butter Baby
Jamila Woods – Heavn
Family Update: Still supporting, strengthening, and building Kingdom families. It is my calling.
Business Update: I added another case to my records. They keep piling on. My prayer is that the Lord would give me a law degree (like I didn’t already work for it), so I can shake something for a husband after I pursue these cases all of the way. Lol. Just kidding. I kind of deserve it though.
Social Justice Update: Guess which race it is!
Happy (Early) Labor Day! Blessings!

September 3, 2019 Update:
Greenleaf. Season 4. Tonight.
I. Can’t. Wait.
When I miss my best friends, I listen to albums like: Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1.
One of my favorite albums and favorite artists. ☀️
These days, I’m wearing sports bras, It Works body (belly) wraps, glitter lip gloss, chipped nail polish on my fingernails and on my toenails, Coconut Oil and Vitamin E Oil on the freckled and pimpled skin my babies popped out, et cetera, et cetera.
I’ll remove it (the nail polish) soon and repaint.
Living my best life. The way I know how.
Listening to Willing by Jill Scott from the Album: Woman.
I added three new songs I’m vibing to as well.
I hope everyone had a great Labor Day!
