Outreach

Love Is A Lifestyle is committed to reaching the lost and fulfilling the Great Commission as commanded in Matthew 28:19-20, advancing the Kingdom of God, glorifying the Savior Jesus, and making an impact in the world in every way we have been called to. (You can view our Mission Statement and Vision here.) We are especially dedicated to helping eradicate homelessness locally and worldwide. We are also duly committed to helping women (and men) who have been affected by human trafficking; we are committed to encouraging, teaching, and guiding young men and women between the ages of 13-22 with no criminal record who have promise; we are committed to assisting young men and women between the ages of 16-34 (felons and ex-convicts) who have been criminalized, institutionalized and feel trapped in the justice and prison system; and we are also committed to helping women, men, and families who are in dire circumstances and are just looking for a helping hand in any way.

We at Love Is A Lifestyle promote biblical womanhood, biblical manhood, and the growth of healthy biblical families. We have dreams of opening a full-service resource center locally (and quite possibly in other areas), a safe shelter and transition home for those affected by homelessness and/or human trafficking, and a food pantry or kitchen for the community at large (and for those in need).

If you love Jesus, are currently serving in some capacity, and are interested in assisting Love Is A Lifestyle raise funds for the transition home or give back to the community by serving in any or all of the above-mentioned ways, please contact us at loveisalifestyle1@gmail.com with the subject line LIAL – Outreach. Ministries That We Love:

Desiring God – Minneapolis, MN and Online

http://www.desiringgod.org/

This ministry has blessed us tremendously as it relates to our walk with Christ, understanding His truth, and applying it to our lives. The head Pastor, John Piper, is truly a soul that has been graced by God to exhort His people. There is a blog post, article, e-book, or sermon on their site for any question you may have. It a great resource for sound doctrine and doxology, as well as growing in love. I highly recommend!

Unashamed Impact – Global Movement

We adore this ministry. Unashamed Impact is a global movement with a burning desire to see a revival amongst young believers. Founded by Brittney Moses, a young mother and wife with a vision from God, the ministry focuses heavily on evangelism, unity within the body of Christ, service, and discipleship. Check out the ministry and find out how you can connect with an Unashamed Impact team near you! And tell them we sent sent you!

There are several ministries that we receive encouragement and truth from, but these two ministries are ministries that we personally love and want to highlight! This is not an all-encompassing list, as there are many other ministries that have blessed us. We also encourage you to search for ministries on your own that speak to your spirit, and most importantly: Find a local church where you can connect and fellowship with believers in person! It is paramount to your growth and sanctification in Christ!

If you have any questions about Christ, salvation, our ministry, or any of these ministries, please contact us at loveisalifestyle1@gmail.com or contact one of the ministries listed above. Blessings to you!
